Being able to develop a project with collegues which was hundreds of km far from me. Learing from the other teammates. The envirnment/mood of the course.
I have three years experience in both software and hardware industry and I have worked in distributed environments.
Unlike other team projects and assignments I had at university, this resembles a real life scenario. If you have no experience working in a distributed environment - enroll on this course. You will learn how to work with other cultures, how to collaborate with people who are not speaking the same language as you and you will make a few new friends.
Also, I have never used agile and this course helped me to see it's benefits and problems. Now I am trying to implement some parts of it in a company I am working in. So, If you never tried SCRUM - enroll on this course and you will experience it hands on with no restraints :)
Invited lectures. Distributed lectures itself and opportunity to work in distributed team for a project offered by particular company.
The experience. It was rely fun to work remotely with people from around the world on an very interesting real life project. And i also had the chance to get better in communicating in English which is very useful.
Working with like-minded people from different countries and learning about agile-scrum that is a very used term in today's software development
Learning how to work in distributed team, agile development and experiencing SCRUM
the things that I really like in this course were first working with international students from different university on the other hand working in a real project in which it causes to learn lots of new things in order to improve our knowledge.
A very nice and different experience from other courses that I had in my master.Having lectures from different companies and experienced people was also a nice feature of this course.
To work remotely with the people and communicate with them, video lectures by having different universities together, especially the presentations in front of camera.
I liked meeting a few new people, some of which are very competent and hardworking. Also, since I was never professionally working remotely, this gave me an idea of what it might be like.
