Comment - As a whole, the course was

The course was interesting but the amount of job must be done is huge according the weight of the course.
The whole course was hard. It took me a lot of time to finish project. I was frustrated with missing involvement in project from some team members and especially with members leaving the team.
The course is well structured: introduction to the course with presentations, working team, availability of supervisors,... This course allows you to learn a lot and to work in a distributed team that is unusual. The only bad thing for me is that there was too little time. I recommend you starting the course two weeks before.
Well organized, covered important topics and taught us about team work.
Brilliant! During this course I've achieved many team-working skills and began to work in a group where each team member's work depends on others

2. The course has fulfilled my expectations:

Average3.88
not at all: 100%
2112.5%
3225%
4225%
completely fulfilled: 5337.5%

Comment - The course has fulfilled my expectations

I had not a high expectation but at least I learn some new stuff
I thought that the project would be easier and the cooperation would be much easier and more concrete. We spent a lot of time deciding nothing that lead to frustration.
I knew that I would have learned a lot from this course, but I learned more than I thought. I have worked with new programs and especially in a distributed team, addressing the connected problems. It isn't easy to find a course that allow to you to work in a distributed team. Everything I have learnt will help me in the future, I'm sure about it.
Since the beginning, I didn't know what the course will include. However, after a few classes, I was sure I didn't make a mistake choosing this course

3. The concept of the course with lectures and projects was:

Average4.13
bad: 100%
200%
3225%
4337.5%
excellent: 5337.5%

Comment - The concept of the course with lectures and projects was

I dont find the lectures really useful it could be better if lectures were kind of tutoring sessions
I think that the concept is great but the main problem is find a good team and students that will invest need time. Course is attended by a lot of ERASMUS students that spend their time traveling so DSD is left as side job leaving other students in problems.
I think some introductory lessons are important for understanding how the course is structured and how struttutare work in the group. But I would eliminate some other introductory lessons: in this way teams will have more time to focus on the project
Quite good and understandable. I think it is most importat parts of every course.

4. The course administration (web page, support, information, etc) was:

Average4.63
bad: 100%
200%
300%
4337.5%
excellent: 5562.5%

Comment - The course administration was

Nothing to say
The web page is good, just remove DSD-poll after it is completed :) Support was fine, a lot of information can be found on site so there was no bigger problem.
The web page was constantly updated with the latest news, information and deadlines were given sufficiently in advance. Calendar with deadlines on the website was useful
Well-timed, organized and easy to understand

5. I have learned:

Average4.13
nothing: 100%
200%
3225%
4337.5%
a lot: 5337.5%

Comment - I have learned

I have learned some new technologies, improve my intercultural communication
I did not lear a lot in terms of technology but I have learned a lot how to work in distributed team, manage communication, define tasks...
I learned more than I thought thanks to this course: I learned how to use new applications, to use the SCRUM organization, to write documents (as a Project Plan), to work in a distributed team: I'm absolutely satisfied about it.
Scrum organization, new technologies and how communication between team mates is important.
New developing skills, team work skills and the thing that is priceless is an experience of working in such distributed and multinational group

6. The lectures were:

Average3.63
bad: 100%
2225%
3112.5%
4337.5%
excellent: 5225%

Comment - The lectures were

This kind of grade is mostly because of bad quality of video from remote side. Check last comment for details.
Lectures were good, addressing some major problem that we where tackling latter in project. Get some good tips how to present your project.
Lectures have been useful to introduce the course and work in the teams. I would eliminate some lectures because some of them are unnecessary and in this case the teams would have more time for the project.
simple and clear

7. The guest lectures were:

bad: 100%

excellent: 5112.5%

Comment - The guest lectures were

This kind of grade is mostly because of bad quality of video from remote side. Check last comment for details.
Lecture were boring and addressing some wrong components that were not relevant in our project. Especially bad was guest lecture from Italy.
Personally, guests didn't impressed me and mainly their speeches weren't helpful to the project.

8. I liked to work in the project:

not at all: 100%
200%
3225%
4337.5%
I loved it!: 5337.5%

Comment - I liked to work in the project

the project choices were limited I would prefer to work on more interesting project then I worked on
I liked it at start but with to much workload my impression fall down.
I really enjoyed working in the project, especially I liked my teams: we were 7 students from 5 different countries; our different knowledge weren't a problem because through dialogue we were able to use them in the best way.
It was challenging and in the same time fun
because it was my first experience in working in a such way

9. The project advising and support was:

Average4.13
bad: 100%
200%
3225%
4337.5%
excellent: 5337.5%

Comment - The project advising and support was

We were missing a comment for our project sponsor.
The supervisors were always available and willing to help us; they also gave us valuable tips to improve our final product
Supervisors comments were very helpful and guided us throughout the whole project
Very productive. We always recieved an answer about the quiestions and we recieved them really fast

10. The cooperation between students from FER, POLIMI and MDH was (in your poject):

Average4.13
bad: 100%
200%
3112.5%
4562.5%
excellent: 5225%

Comment - The cooperation between students from FER, POLIMI and MDH was (in your project):

Cooperation was solid, no bigger issues.
In our project there was good cooperation among students: the prompt dialogue about possible problems was important to complete the project in the best way
Not quite qood

11. My workload was:

Average4.13
nothing: 100%
200%
3225%
4337.5%
very heavy: 5337.5%

Comment - My workload was

The course I really heavy and take much time then expected
When we lost some team members the workload got pretty big, especially in last week before last presentation, our project was a way behind planned.
I knew that my workload was very heavy because I had less knowledge about these topics than other students. The project took me a lot of time but in the end I was very pleased with the outcome and about what I've learned.
not heavy, not light - since I had to study many new things about DSD, I've spent a lot of time doing it. However, working on a project I've tried to do my best

12. The equipment for the distance work was:

Average3.75
bad: 100%
200%
3225%
4675%
excellent: 500%

Comment - The equipment for the distance work was

We had problem with internet connection in Sweden that led to problem in Skype calls.
The technologies that we used (mainly Skype, Facebook and Google Drive) have proved very useful and of good quality connection: we rarely had internet connection problems.
ok :)

13. The things I most liked in the course:

- Make a new friends - Learn new technologies
* Experience to work in distributed team * Experience to work with multi-national team * Challenging project
Do whole course on english. Work with students for different universities.
the availability of other team's members to help me
Project topic, week meetings with supervisors and the team, solving problems we had during the project development
I'm not sure you are going to understand me, but I'll try to be more clear - the whole things - like professors (from POLIMI), the atmosphere, the "spirit" and the whole our collaboration - the mix of all these things makes me really happy about choosing this course
Working with several cultures and meet new people
The team

14. The following can be improved in the course:

- Decrease the load of work
* Workload is to big * Quality of lectures is bad mostly because of bad video (especially from POLIMI side). A lot of times, it was really hard, or not possible at all, to understand remote side * Forming of team should be done earlier to have more time to work on project * There was to little time between Design deadline & Alpha prototype and also between Alpha & Beta presentation, while there was much more time between Beta & Final presentation. With this kind of deadlines, Alpha & Beta prototypes are loosing there meaning.
Somehow filter ERASMUS students that are not committed to finish this course.
I think this course need more time (at least 2 weeks more)
To allow students to propose a projects
The only thing I can advise to improve is to do the communication between the universities in a better way
The presentations could be smaller
Maybe less documentation..
